The Dark Knight on Blu-ray: December 9 (Not Official)

Obviously Warner has not officially announced The Dark Knight coming Blu-ray and anything can and sometimes does change.

As of right now it's looking pretty good that The Dark Knight is prepared to land on December 9 and cap off what should be a strong holiday sales season for the Blu-ray Disc format.

We'll pass along the official Warner announcement and all related goodies like disc specs and cover art immediately upon receipt.

I need to get an HDTV and this movie just to see how beautiful it is going to be. Its going to look so good. I hope i have an HDTV by the time this comes out.

Aw man I seriously want this. The movie was incredible. I got an HD TV for just my ps3 for about 250$ its 23" Which is fine for me when i play.

I want to get like a 32" or bigger. I could use a 23" just for gaming, but I wouldn't want to watch movies on it. The one I want is like $700

This is the one I want, its 720p and cost $800. My friend has it and its beautiful, its really bright. but my room is big enough.

From where Best Buy? I found one that was 32" for $600 some in 720p.

Yea I know, but I know that Samsung makes the best looking TV's. Like the picture is the clearest. There are others you can get for cheaper, but the colors and contrast ratio arent as good.

Heres a few tips when buying an HDTV
- Check the contrast ratio, not dynamic contrast ratio. The higher the better.
- 1080p is alot better, but is more expensive.
- You will need an HDMI or Component cables if you own a PS3 and want it hooked the the TV.

I would get 1080p, but unfortunantly I don't have $1000, and I couldn't find one for lower than that.

Just so you guys know Buy an HDMI online. They are so much cheaper and the ones in the store are proven to not be better.
