Ubisoft Planning Far Cry 3

Coming out of the Leipzig Games Convention, Ubisoft’s Patrick Redding let loose that the teams plans are already in “preliminary stages”. Redding went on to say that the entire team loved the African setting (And who wouldn't? All that combustible material and massive wild game animals) and think there is scope to stick with it for some time.

Of course, that's the PR side of things. The practical side is that the team could put together the next title quite quickly and easily and "save time" due to the work already done creating a virtual Africa. As Joystiq have assumed, you would expect that that time could be used to flesh out a storyline and create some great sequences.

Yea, as long as they keep the gameplay like Far Cry 2, like how its open world and it's so realistic. I would like Assassins Creed 2 first. Then they can make another Far Cry game. BUT I AM VERY HAPPY THAT THEY ARE THINKING OF ANOTHER.

Correct me if im wrong. I don't think that the same teams are developing these games. Pop guys are right? For Assassin's creed?

It is the same devs making both games. Ubisoft Montreal. They are also making Prince of Persia. Right now they are very busy. Assassins Creed wont be started until PoP is released. So we still have a ways to go.
